- Celebrate May is National Walking Month by putting on your walking shoes and exploring Williamsburg by foot!
- The inaugural Mary’s Walk Williamsburg, a community walking event, is Sunday, May 4 from 10 am to 4 pm.
- Registration is free, but donations are encouraged to fund the Mary Turnbull Bike & Walk Fund at WCF.
This fund recently awarded its first grant to the Bicycle Co-Op of Williamsburg to buy helmets, locks, and lights for Voucher Clients who receive free bikes.
Walkers can start anywhere, anytime, and walk any distance. Points of Interest throughout the walk let you learn about local history and culture.
Music, food and drink at restaurants along the way, and the camaraderie of fellow walkers all combine for an active fun day.
