WCF Announces New Development & Communications Officer

Jenn Daley named as Williamsburg Community Foundation’s Development & Communications Officer

(July 9, 2024)  The Williamsburg Community Foundation has selected Jennifer S. “Jenn” Daley to serve as its Development & Communications Officer. Daley’s focus will be on enhancing awareness and garnering support for the foundation and its community partners. Joining during the WCF’s 25th anniversary and its campaign to raise three-quarters of a million dollars for expanded grantmaking, Daley will help shape the foundation’s local presence and impact significantly.

Daley is a seasoned development and public relations professional with more than 25 years in the nonprofit and public sectors. She brings extensive experience in major giving, annual giving, donor relations, and nonprofit communications and marketing.

Originally from West Virginia and a resident of Williamsburg for nearly 18 years, Daley led donor communications for the comprehensive campaign for the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown during her tenure with the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation. She has served as Development Director at Dream Catchers and Bacon Street Youth and Family Services, and as Communications and Data Director for the Virginia Living Museum. Her early career included roles with the National Park Service, the American Jail Association, and Interfaith Housing of Western Maryland. 

Daley holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and anthropology from Shepherd University and has completed post-graduate work in Integrated Design and communications at the University of Baltimore.
