October 20, 2025 – More than $152,080 in community grants from Williamsburg Community Foundation will support 34 local nonprofits this fall, helping organizations continue their critical work across our community.
These grants are made possible by the generosity of donors who choose to invest in greater Williamsburg. Through charitable funds established at the Foundation and contributions to its community grantmaking, donors help ensure local nonprofits have resources to respond to community needs and pursue promising opportunities.
Donor-advised fund holders also partner with the foundation during community grant rounds, recommending grants to highly ranked proposals that otherwise could not be funded through the Foundation’s available grant dollars. The Foundation is grateful to the following for their partnership in the fall grant round: Linda T. Baker, Mary & Hunt Berryman, Mary K. Hill, and an anonymous donor.
The next round of community grants will support projects beginning in spring 2027. Nonprofits interested in applying can find eligibility requirements, application information, and guidelines here. The deadline to apply is December 11, 2026.
Through community grantmaking, Williamsburg Community Foundation connects local generosity with the organizations working to make our community stronger. By bringing donors and nonprofits together, the Foundation helps charitable giving reach a broad range of needs and opportunities.
