Williamsburg Community Foundation Welcomes New Trustees!

On March 19, 2020, the Foundation board elected two new trustees to serve on the board. We are thrilled to have John Fogarty and Lisa Lucas join the team; read more about their backgrounds below.

John Fogarty retired from Deloitte & Touche in 2017 after a 39year career.  John served as the Chief Auditor at Deloitte, Chair of the Deloitte international auditing technical committee, the Chair of the AICPA Auditing Standards Board, and Deputy Chair of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board.  Currently John serves as the volunteer controller of Bruton Parish Church and is a former Senior Warden of the church.  John is also a member of the Board of Trustees of McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN and is Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee.  John is a graduate of Rice University and gives guest lectures on accounting and auditing matters at the Rice business school. 

 

Lisa Lucas is the Executive Office Manager for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation.  Prior to moving to Williamsburg, she worked for Deutsche Financial Services as a Marketing & Design Manager (CA) and at the Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Florida as the Public and Corporate Relations Manager. She is the past Lafayette High School PTSA President and the current Lafayette representative on the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee and is a member of the 20th Anniversary Gala Committee.  She has also served in various volunteer positions for Bruton Parish Church and as a volunteer for Relay for Life.  Lisa has a MA in classical studies from the University of Florida and a BA in classical studies from Millsaps College.  She is married to Captain Christopher C. LucasU.S. Navy, Physician.  Her two children Devin and Ian are studying at UVA.
