After Thanksgiving and Black Friday comes #GivingTuesday, a worldwide day of giving back. This year, WCF is raising money for its Fund for Women and Girls, a field-of-interest endowment fund that provides grants for programs that support women and girls in greater Williamsburg. Every gift makes a difference – thank you for your help!

The Williamsburg Fund for Women & Girls has made grants to many different programs serving greater Williamsburg, such as:

– equipping new moms (and our whole community) to overcome postpartum depression and related disorders. Read more.
– providing the most basic necessities for women — feminine hygiene products — to low-income women and teen girls who visit United Way’s Community Resource Center.
– free mammograms for local women to improve early detection of breast cancer, in partnership with the Sentara Auxiliary

Please join us and make a difference for women and girls on #GivingTuesday!  We have set a goal of raising $1,000 — every little bit helps us reach our goal!
